Position Title: Manager, Cloud Inside Sales

Our Team

Cloud First Response is responsible for generating qualified opportunities for the sales organization primarily through lead follow up and outbound prospecting. The team plays a vital role in both pipeline creation and revenue generation and is on the front line of engaging with Informatica customers and prospects. 
 
Your Responsibilities

You will lead a Cloud First Response team as they engage with customers and prospects daily via phone and email to identify new contacts and sales-ready opportunities. You will work with your management team to set team goals and hire, train, and develop team members. You will motivate, lead, mentor and guide the team to achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and revenue goals.  You will collaborate with other sales managers to improve engagement processes and maintain visibility of the customer acquisition process.  

  • Hire, develop, and retain a team of professionals with a focus on generating opportunities in our cloud technology stack
  • Build and execute enablement plans for team to deliver first call product overviews, custom demos and workshops 
  • Lead a team that engages with prospects daily via phone and digital channels to identify and progress new business opportunities specific to Informatica Cloud solutions.
  • Align coverage strategies across market segments to ensure maximum territory coverage and revenue growth within a defined territory.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Business Development, Pre-Sales, Marketing, and Product to execute strategies.
  • Analyze key reports and sales analytics to make recommendations on how to improve team performance.
  • Develop and execute career development and leadership plans.
  • Leverage solution enablement and sales training to consistently increase performance and drive professional growth.

 

What We Look For

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of a customer and our internal organization.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, sales tools and organizational structures. Knowledge of Sandler Sales Methodology a plus.
  • Ability to translate customer business problems and technical requirements into a qualified opportunity
  • High degree of creative ability, analytical / business skills, and independent judgement.
  • Knowledge of business organizational structures and buying influencers.

Required Experience:

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience required. 
  • 6 + years pre-sales/ sales / sales management experience, generating incremental pipeline and revenue with a technology vendor. Experience at a Cloud/SaaS company a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience, having effectively coached or managed individuals and supported team’s professional development.
  • Knowledge in databases, database management and operating systems 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding measurable sales goals
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability.
