Informatica is looking for a dynamic professional who is passionate about Technology and Systems, who wants to develop and continue their career specializing with the latest hosted environment SaaS technology, global Presales processes and technical operations. The EMEA Presales Operation Specialist work as part of the EMEA Specialist team and directly engage with EMEA Presales, Product Management, Enablement team and IT organization to provide powerful technical environments to experiment, demo and proof Informatica software products for our prospects and customers. Supporting Informatica revenue targets by defining the Presales Operation strategy, plans and implementing an effective and efficient self-service software publication processes and procedures across EMEA.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to Presales Operation strategic planning, vision and execution
• Install, configure and maintain Informatica and other software to support our common demo environment, custom demos, Proof of Concepts, enablement and workshops on demand.
• Create and maintain automated capabilities to accelerate daily tasks such as building, monitoring and governing environments in Amazon AWS, Azure and VMWare.
• This involves creating copies of existing template machines or leveraging docker containers and customizing those for the requested purpose.
• Document and provide guidance to sales consulting on how to use the environments
• Troubleshooting network and security connectivity between various technologies
• Consistent regular attendance at work

 JOB KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS

• Strong scripting skills with Linux Bash, Python and other scripting languages including maintaining and developing new scripts to automate complex, parameterized processes.
• Strong understanding & knowledge of operating systems, virtualization & hosting architecture
• Strong understanding & knowledge on devOps continuous integration/delivery
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of cloud data integration/governance software and their potential applications – advantage
• Knowledge of big data and all its potential applications – advantage

 JOB EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science degrees or equivalent
• Experience in Linux server administration such as user administration, system troubleshooting, networking, file systems management, performance monitoring & troubleshooting
• Experience in virtualization technologies like Docker, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.
• Experience in Amazon AWS EC2, Microsoft Azure
• Experience in orchestration system for automating deployment like AWS Cloudformation, Kubernetes, Embotics, etc.
• Experience with databases like Redshift, SQL Data Warehouse, Google Big Query, Hive, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with cloud filesystems like AWS s3, Azure ADLS, Google Storage preferred
• Experience with Hadoop environment like Hortonworks, Cloudera, MapR preferred
• Experience with Informatica software preferred
