Position Title: Sr Principal Enablement Program Mgr

External Description:

We are looking for an innovative Presales Enablement Manager to develop high-quality technical training and enablement programs for our internal Pre-Sales Consultants. As a pivotal member of the Enablement team, this person will be responsible for driving, designing, planning, organizing, and developing training materials, resources, and onboarding in support of Informatica’s Presales needs.  You will be tasked with the implementation of new key initiatives that support our client-facing teams across all 3 global theaters (North America, EMEA/LATAM, and APJ).   The ideal candidate will demonstrate individual resourcefulness, and a drive to get things done with a collaborative, ‘make it happen’ approach and be able to speak the language of the Presales communities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As part of the Presales and Technical Enablement team, you will partner closely with our Presales consultants and leaders. You will ensure that our field organization has the knowledge and skills needed for effective representation of our solutions.   To excel in this role, it is important to have experience around direct selling efforts as well as helping to enable / teach others as there will be elements of technical capabilities, sales understanding and enablement throughout the deliverables and initiatives in this function.

  • Focus on the onboarding new hires and continuing education / reinforcement for the global presales resources along with determining how to get them to mastery based on specialty.
  • Create the Presales Enablement strategy & process in conjunction with the Sr Director or Technical Enablement and GEO stakeholders to include, but not limited to, program management, documentation, curriculum, goals, execution, process improvements.
  • Devise technical training programs according to organizational and solution requirements as well as by specialties and expertise levels.
  • Provide the ability for pre-sales consultants to have greater visibility in the organization through participation in field training initiatives or success deep dives.
  • Define course content according to objectives and requirements for onboarding the technical resources in the field.
  • Work with internal teams to create and package high-value, easy-to-use field tools (technical guides, training decks, demos, etc.).
  • Work with our Analytics and Predictive Reporting function to determine success measurement and metrics of programs developed and gain buy in from field technical leadership.
  • Assess overall effectiveness of programs and make needed improvements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Direct experience in technical training and content strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Excellent creative skills with confirmed ability to craft compelling training and resources
  • Ability to visually translate technology features and concepts into clear benefits
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment and quickly learn new concepts
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for excellence and high quality in the finished product; acute attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with ability to work with little definition and without supervision while multi-tasking and prioritizing across several projects and initiatives
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of total, relevant professional experience
  • Prior experience in technical support marketing, technical training, technical enablement, or related field sales/presales
  • Demonstrated experience as a high performing, field-based sales consultant role or management of a high performing presales team is ideal.
