Your Role 

The successful candidate will participate in the development of a Cloud-based solution within the Data Integration business unit of Informatica, located in Kazan. The role is primarily focused on a data replication system. 

Candidates at this level actively contribute to the open problem-solving environment. 

The candidate will be responsible at a feature level for delivering, in a timely manner, well tested, scalable and robust components. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Design technical solutions to support product features.
• Implement, unit test, and bug-fix well-defined functionality that satisfies the stipulated requirements.
• Provide estimates for component work.
• Suggests enhancements to existing product that contributes to product goals.
• Perform code reviews.
• Review QA test specifications for component stories.
• Communicate across features and components within the product.
• Interact with other groups on the product.
• Participate in talks and demos within the team.

Required Skills 

• Experience in Java development.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in building microservices.
• Spring.
• Fluency in Russian and English is a requirement.
• Experience in Java development.

 Desirable Skills 

• Experience with one or more of the following databases: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Teradata, Greenplum, Vertica, Netezza.
• Hadoop / Hive.
• Kafka.
• Unix-like operating systems.
• Kotline.
• AWS / Azure API.
• Docker.
