Sales Operations Analyst - Contractor

We are looking for a qualified Sales Operation Analyst to join our Greater China sales team. You will support a team driven sales and customer service approach by overseeing information flow, deadlines and reporting requirements.  You will serve as a point of contact for sales team and perform sales ops duties such as monitoring deals progress of sales reps and organizing sales results to present to higher management. It’s a fast-paced position that requires the ability to multitask.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Operations

  • Partner with Greater China sales leaders of direct sales and channel sales teams to define, refine, and maintain sales territories and account assignments
  • Develop, track and manage the forecast process, performance analysis, metrics/KPIs to drive forecast accuracy
  • Ensure alignment of Sales team with overall corporate objectives and priorities and execution of strategy and process driven by global and APAC team.
  • Monitor and review the Salesforce funnel and pipeline metrics weekly to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Own sales analytics data gathering, reporting, and improvements for Greater China
  • Help prepare the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Package
  • Implement best-practices and standardization of sales processes leveraging efficiency and scalability
  • Serving as point of contact and coordinator for the sales team in Greater China
  • Any add-hoc tasks assigned from time to time
  • Participating in sales forecast meetings and tracking action items and following up for key issues to be sorted out

Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Background in sales operations and field level forecast process
  • Proven experience of sales and analytics technology and how to apply it to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Frequent engagement with sales executives to provide functional expertise advice that influences sales strategy
  • Intellectual curiosity and agility to navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Strong collaborator; comfortable operating in a matrix organization
  • Ability to present, articulate, and defend analyses
  • Working knowledge of SFDC, CPQ, Tableau, Power BI tools, etc.
