Our Team

We are a PreSales organization that manages virtual machines, and we are building a Demo Operations (DemoOps) infrastructure which will change the future of the way Informatica PreSales manages our virtual environments across all the major cloud providers including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The core principles of the PreSales DemoOps team is Self-Service, Automation and Community and our goal is to marry DevOps principals with the requirements of maintaining high standard demonstration environments.

• Passion for innovative approaches and contribution to the evolution of demo operations.

Your Responsibilities

Your role will be based in Ireland or Germany supporting the global PreSales demonstration infrastructure.

The primary responsibilities are: 

• Work closely and follow the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals for the demo operations team and projects.
• Manage the PreSales DemoOps team.
• Coordinate shared programs with all PreSales operations teams globally.
• Drive capability assessments and provide industry subject matter expertise using DevOps best practices.
• Work with team to design and direct all aspects of continuous delivery implementation across Informatica PreSales systems.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Make decisions that have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.
• Facilitate infrastructure discussions across the other business groups at Informatica including Security, IT, R&D, Customer Support and other groups.
• Contribute to DemoOps project development including asset creation and enterprise strategy definition 

Your Qualification. Required Skills

• Experience in managing or leading DevOps engineers delivering IaaS or PaaS services.
• Being remote management ready to work with geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience in managing infrastructure in a Cloud ecosystem such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Successful implementation of Ansible,  Qualys, Snow or Chef in Cloud infrastructure
• Experience in delivering solutions for monitoring, patching and service deployment
• Very strong technical awareness. Ability to grasp and self-teach new technologies, concepts, terms.
• Good self-efficacy
• Very good written skills
• Ability to read, speak and understand English fluently.

Extra/Desirable Skills:

• Network configurations within and across cloud accounts
• Experience with Docker Containers
• Linux and Windows OS knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Informatica ecosystem.
