We’re currently looking for a Senior Solutions Consultant with experience in Master Data Management or is willing to familiarize himself with these topics. The role will be based in Germany and will have responsibilities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

As an MDM Solution Consultant, you're technically sophisticated and have the patience and passion to guide customers and stakeholders through all the capabilities of our products and solutions. Whether it's an initial product evaluation, competitive proof point, or addressing technical pain points, you're willing to take the time to provide deep explanations and find solutions where needed. You find a collaborative work environment rewarding yet are equally adept at and content working independently. You are comfortable with travel in order to engage in face-to-face meetings. In addition, you have the following attributes: 

  • An ability to rapidly understand and translate clients business challenges and concerns into a solution-oriented discussion.
  • Persuasive communication skills for presenting to all customer levels, from CTOs/CIOs, to engineering managers and programmers.
  • You establish yourself as a domain expert and go-to person in the organization when it comes to MDM and related technologies
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and strategic thinking for resolving issues that arise in the presales environment. 
  • You're a people person with credibility: confident and personable with a demonstrable track record of professional acumen and decision-making ability.
  • You will thrive on juggling a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, complementing your strategic outlook with a 'hands-on' approach.
  • Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills that impress your peers.

Your main responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Account managers to qualify, to discover opportunities, to influence and develop Sales account strategy including competitive threats, technical threats and alternatives.
  • Engages with customers and prospects to demonstrate our products, effectively communicate the key differentiators, and to confirm Informatica technical viability for the opportunity.
  • Collaborates with Account Manager to complete technical aspects of RFIs and RFPs, identifies competitive landscape, expected competitive effort, and known competitive preferences.
  • As the owner of the technical agenda, validates solution for opportunity, owns and manages the development, delivery and/or orchestration of technical validation activities required to achieve technical validation, technical selection and technical closure from the customer (technical presentations, POCs, demos…).
  • Explains and sells the technical aspects of the solution to customers up to and including large global institutions, including Informatica’s most complex accounts.

Your Qualifications

  • Solid, related experience in technical pre-sales and/or technical consulting roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • Excellent Communicator.
  • Master Data Management and/or Data Quality knowledge is an advantage.
  • Growth Mindset. Experience and passion for learning (technical and professional skills).
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
