Position Title: Sr Manager, International Benefits

External Description:

We’re currently looking for a Senior Manager of International Benefits, with experience in the administration of international benefits including health and welfare, pension, time off programs, leave programs, and corporate wellness to join our team. 

Job Summary

As our Senior Manager of International Benefits, you will be responsible for managing the routine activities of the benefits team and the administration of the benefit programs.  In the role of Senior Manager of International Benefits, you must be able to work and adapt in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Working as the Senior Manager of International Benefits you must have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Works with VP Total Rewards to develop Global Benefits strategy and to ensure the strategy is aligned to Business and HR Strategy and market demands
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with global HR leaders, HR Business Partners, finance partners, and other internal teams who support global benefits in offices within and outside of the U.S.
  • Responsible for the implementation and communication of Global Benefit Programs especially core benefits e.g. medical, retirement, leaves, income protection
  • Periodically benchmarks existing benefits to ensure they are competitive, cost-effective, of high quality and are equitably offered
  • Spearhead harmonization and benefits integration activities (Workday integration)
  • Develops Company cost and budget information. May recommend strategies and tactics to control benefit costs while maintaining coverage and quality
  • Ensures regulatory compliance outside US and stays current with legislation and regulations
  • Work closely with US Benefits Team to support communication strategy for global benefit offerings
  • Partner with in-country HR and Finance to assist in the administration of international health, welfare and retirement benefit plans. Analyze financials and negotiate annual benefit renewals
  • Analyzes and assists with the specifications for new plans or modifications to existing plans to a) maintain the company's competitive position in the labor market, and b) attract and retain a workforce
  • Work with Benefits team to develop Global Well-being strategy. Manage and mentor direct reports
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities  

Day-to-day Duties? Here's What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage routine activities of the benefits team in the administration of the benefit programs
  • Maintains centralized documentation of global benefits programs.
  • Partner with US Benefits and Global Mobility to analyze, recommend and maintain benefit programs to cover globally mobile employees

Key Essentials

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience required
  • Prior international benefits experience primarily in EMEA and India
  • Previous global responsibilities with demonstrated experience partnering with teammates outside the U.S. in multiple cultures, countries, regulatory, and market environments.
  • Advanced level analytical and problem-solving skills in their functional area, with the ability to influence others.
  • Delivers upon and drives initiatives in the functional area, as well as influencing across the organization.
  • Engages frequently with HR team to provide functional expertise advice that may influence business unit decisions.
