Requirements

We are looking for an engineer with a proven record of developing and delivering enterprise-class software and experience on framework design and development to work with the platform group. You will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of platform features for Informatica products. You will be responsible for fixing security issues, contributing to ongoing engine development and process initiatives in the team. You will deliver parts of enterprise-ready cloud data management solutions.

Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be based in Poland and will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining our docker development environment.
• Resolving security vulnerabilities and CVEs identified by our security team to maintain product integrity.
• Work with other team members and to identify areas of improvement in our build systems and resolve productivity challenges.
• Working with senior members of the team to ensure sound design and implementation of functional areas for the product
• Working closely with architects and developers and QA engineers to discuss and evangelize features
• Collaborating with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Participating in internal/cross-team meetings, scoping, decision making and technical documentation

Your Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 1 or more years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to write quality code in Java, Scala.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, Hive is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud software concepts with experience in working with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
• Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas in a big group
• Strong analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
