Senior Manager, Marketing Development

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing Development to join our Marketing team.

You will report to the SVP Global Field Marketing.

Today, our North America Market Development team is comprised of ~15 people, and the hub is in in Austin, TX while some members work remotely. As the leader of this time, you will continue to evolve our world-class MDR organization, aligned with Marketing and Sales, to ensure that no lead is left behind and that we drive quality pipeline in our target accounts.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Lead all teams to exceed quarterly pipeline quotas and opportunity targets
  • Inspire the team to create repeatable, predictable, pipeline from select accounts
  • Make sure that pipeline generated is high quality and meets average close rates by Sales
  • Promote the Market Development goals
  • Establish relationships with partners in Sales, Marketing, and Operations
  • Track industry, and economic factors that improve adoption trends in target customers
  • Represent the Market Development organization in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
  • Recruit and develop top talent, according to our requirements

What We'd Like to See

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with at least 3+ years of progressive people management
  • Experience leading successful market development organizations in B2B and SaaS markets
  • Experience overachieving quotas for pipeline generation
  • Understanding of the process to engage and convert customers on trials or freemiums
  • Experience with the following technology solutions: Marketing Automation (Marketo), CRM (Salesforce), Sales Engagement (SalesLoft), and Data Enrichment
  • Proficiency in Account Based Marketing (ABM) methodologies
  • A history of recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
  • An undergraduate or master's degree in a relevant field of study

Role Essentials

  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Manages people managers or senior level individual contributors
