Informatica is currently looking for a Principal Product Manager with experience in data integration, data warehouse, data lake,  hierarchical data structures and Industry-specific standards such as HL7, FHIR, EDI, NACHA, SWIFT etc.) to join our team in Tel-Aviv.  

Job Summary  

As a Principal Product Manager in the Product Management team for Data integration and Industry solutions, you will be responsible for:  

  • Drive the product and business planning process across cross-functional teams of the company.
  • Work with R&D organisations to drive product requirements and ensure timely release of products and solutions, manage the complete life cycle of products/modules.
  • Establish critical relationships with stakeholders in sales, pre-sales and other product managers and collaborate to define joint products and solutions that will provide holistic industry-specific solutions within INFA platform.
  • Evangelise and represent Informatica products and platform at industry events and with customers, prospects, partners, and internal groups such as R&D, product marketing, sales, and customer support.
  • Lead the market/technology research and develop a deep understanding of the technology, market and competitors across industries. 

In the role of Principal Product Manager, you must be able to work and adapt to a fluid, fast-paced environment. As the Principal Product Manager, you must have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. 

What You'll Do 

As an integral member of the product team, you are charged with product line success; you will:  

  • Work closely with key customers and strategic partners to gather and analyse customer problems and use cases, and extract requirements.
  • Work closely with different stakeholders in sales and pre-sales to prioritise the roadmap.
  • Author product requirements and go to market plan. 
  • Manage the entire product/solution life cycle from strategic planning to delivery.
  • Prioritise product direction by maintaining a detailed product roadmap supported by thorough analysis and competitive positioning. 

 

Key Essentials  

  • 6+ years in technical Product Management or Solution Consulting roles.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with data integration.
  • Strong background in hierarchical data structures, schemas, and Industry data integration standards.
  • Prior experience in cloud-based infrastructure software, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
  • Proven organisational and project management skills; ability to multi-task and work on several assignments concurrently required.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform market analysis and competitive analysis and define product requirements, product release plans, and technical demos.
  • BS degree in engineering/computer science or a related technical discipline.

You utilise your excellent technical knowledge and leadership skills to make strategic product decisions. You will continue to analyse the market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands. 

  • You can get a deep knowledge of existing products, tools, and capabilities, contribute to product planning, define requirements, and work closely with the dev team to bring new capabilities. 
  • You can lead and make things happen, working collaboratively with various cross-functional teams within and outside the organisation – architecture, engineering, marketing, sales and services. 
  • You enjoy spending time understanding the market and technology shifts, understanding customer problems, synthesising needs and defining innovative products and solutions.  

 

Nice to Have 

Experience with data management products and technologies is a plus – iPaaS, data quality, information life-cycle, data governance, analytics, and master data management. 

  • Experience with middleware (application development and integration) products and technologies is a plus – data integration, ETL, EAI, enterprise service bus, service orchestration, BPM, web and application servers, and user interface. 
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of one or more industries such as Healthcare, Retail, BFSI etc.
