Software Development Engineer in Test

We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test candidate with experience in Java, Selenium, SQL to join our team in Bangalore/Hybrid.

You will report to our Senior Manager, QA Engineering.

You will be a part of Informatica Connectivity team responsible for building the world class connectors to various third-party systems to power all the Informatica Products be it Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Data Engineering Integration or Power Center. We work on the latest and greatest technology in the Cloud like (Azure, AWS, Google) and all other technologies.

Technology You'll Use

Java, Selenium, SQL, Python, and Microservices.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• You will be responsible for automation, functional verification/certification, tooling, continuous integration to ensure that the testing process progresses smoothly with a high degree of reliability.
• You will develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
• Participate in functional, system, integration and regression testing activities
• You will develop test programs including test tools and automated test suites
• Work along with the development team to analyze any issues
• Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review.
• Team work with developers and QA peers and other team members in the QA organization.
• Build planned testing tasks and provide accurate analysis of findings
• Demonstrate and organize responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems).
• Be viewed as the key "go to" person for the any technical troubleshoot of the product

What We'd Like to See

• 4+ years of enterprise software quality experience, data-intensive and multi-threaded server-based cloud products with performance and scalability requirements
• Knowledge on Microservice-based Architecture .
• Experience in SQL and PL/SQL
• Hands-on programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript/Perl/Python.
• Automation experience with Selenium, TestNG, REST API Experience
• Experience with OData, XML, JQuery, JSON, SOAP and REST, HTTPS
• Background in product testing with large-scale enterprise products is desirable. Prior experience in any DWH/ETL products.
• Expertise on the Dockers / Containers / Kubernetes and Jenkins .
• Experience in at least one of the New age DW technologies Redshift, Snowflake, Databrick, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle and QA methodologies, procedures, and QA documentation.

• Working knowledge on Big data.
• Hands-on experience on SAP, Salesforce
• Hands-on experience on Tableau, PowerBI
• Performance testing background.
• Knowledge of Security testing.
• Academic background - BTech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent course from top schools.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
