Project Manager-Web Applications

We're looking for an Project Manager candidate with experience in implementing projects in the Web and CRM domain with experience on Salesforce projects preferred, to join our team in Bangalore/on site - 2 or 3 a week

You will report to our Senior Director, Information Technology.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Drive delivery on important enterprise applications which are both customer-facing applications and internal enterprise facing applications.
• Drive projects from Inception to delivery managing budget, timelines and quality goals. Identify, analyze, mitigate and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks.
• Implement delivery process so that the distributed resources can work as an effective, objective driven and collaborative global team.
• Provide leadership and help foster a work culture that recognizes, supports individual differences in work-styles, personalities, cultures and values to maximize team performance and effectively achieve team goals.
• Putting in place a continuous improvement program with focus on identifying and implementing best practices, measuring performance and drive improvements in IT systems and processes.
• Partnering effectively with the IT business managers/project managers to define release strategies and annual roadmaps.
• Leverage the existing tools or put in place new ones to ensure effective execution of projects.
• Providing project management expertise for IT applications initiatives; building or defining and ensuring conformance to methods, policies and standards.
• Helping manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, new vendor selection processes, renewal solutions, maintenance and support.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a budget, measure performance, and optimize results.
• Experience in working in quality focused organizations which are CMM level 3 and higher is desirable.
• Effective relationship management, communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated success in dealing effectively with customers, vendors, peers and senior management.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to forge consensus among competing constituents on critical issues.
• Management style that exhibits efficiency, collaboration, candor, openness and a result orientation.
• Key personal characteristics include being Ethical and values driven; open to different ideas/viewpoints.

Role Essentials

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• Certified in any agile project methodology, SAFE methodology preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of IT project management experience based around Web and CRM Applications
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
