Information Security Analyst

We're looking for an Information Security Analyst candidate with experience in Information Security GRC or relevant Audit, Risk and Compliance, to join our team in Hyderabad.

You will report to Director of Governance, Risk, Compliance.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Collaborate with business partners and work with other department team members to perform risk assessments
• Develop, documents, and help in implement security controls designed to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company information assets.
• Perform site/physical security assessments
• Manage operational effectiveness of security controls, perform root cause analysis on failures, and lead remediation in a continuous improvement process
• Perform cybersecurity maturity assessments using the NIST CSF framework
• Work with security/technical teams, suppliers, and partners to ensure that appropriate controls are implemented, measured, and improved over time.
• Escort security risks, vulnerabilities and threats through risk analysis / treatment / mitigation processes. Provide firm guidance to technical and business teams to address our requirements
• Prepare compliance and risk assessment reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information from walkthroughs, interviews, and systems
• Advise implementing appropriate security controls to support the compliance and risk requirements of the enterprise, the product suite, and customers.

• Experience in documenting and contributing to the development of security plans, compliance process flows and process creation.

Role Essentials

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
• Industry certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, ISO27001 LI/LA.
• Demonstrated implementing Information Security assessments for technology companies, 1+ years of experience doing assessment work in an IT Operations environment, i.e., security operations, server/network management, OS, databases.
• Experience with common security and privacy frameworks (i.e. ISO 27001, SOX IT Controls, SOC2 Trust Principles, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CIS).
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud environments
• Demonstrated knowledge of assessment methodologies, tools & JIRA knowledge
• Minimum 2+ years of working in Information Security GRC or relevant Audit, Risk, or Compliance roles.
