MDM Sales Specialist - Spain

We're looking for an MDM sales specialist candidate with experience in software solution sales in the region especially within complex enterprise application solutions. This role is based in Spain (hybrid/remote).

You will report to the the VP Sales Cloud Data Management Platform.

You will have direct responsibility to build MDM/PIM sell cycles and achieve/exceed quota both annually and on a quarter-by-quarter basis

Technology You'll Use

Using Salesforce.com, you will manage your activity and provide accurate business forecast at the close of each quarter.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Create new MDM/PIM pipeline
  • Understand and analyse customer needs and develop business propositions to differentiate and sell the Informatica MDM/PIM proposition
  • Prepare and deliver pricing proposals, illustrating Informatica benefits
  • Accurate forecast management, providing and maintaining a qualified and up to date funnel, reporting to management on a defined, regular basis
  • Relationship management of the existing alliance partners
  • Prospect and identification of sales opportunities through cold calling
  • Follow up on leads generated by inside sales, marketing and partners
  • Coordination of the full sales process
  • Engage external and internal resources (including partners and alliances) based on the opportunities identified
  • Communicate Informatica news / product updates to existing customers and prospects

Role Essentials

  • Knowledge of the MDM/PIM Industry trend, marketing and competitors, to join our team in Spain in a hybrid model.
  • Years of experience in software solution sales in the region especially within complex enterprise application solutions
  • Knowledge of the MDM/PIM Industry trend, marketing and competitors
  • Ability to justify MDM/PIM investment to the business
  • Good understanding of MDM/PIM projects from start to finish
  • Good grasp of Data Governance insights.
  • Hunter mentality.
  • Good understanding of business issues / priorities and how technology can resolve them
  • Experience digging into prospects' pain points and validating the issues they're facing (both internal and external) including ability to operate comfortably at C-level within major enterprises and ability to work with regional sales teams to create mutually beneficial solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of business development including direct sales, sales management and alliance management
  • Leading a team-centric approach to sales qualification and revenue closure, working closely with sales account managers, sales consultant (presales) and consulting personnel
  • Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect with both technical and non-technical audience, presenting the relevant aspects of the proposition to the relevant audience
  • Strong virtual team worker
  • Cross-vertical experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and oral). Preferred knowledge of Italian language.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
