Solution Architect

Seeking a Solution Architect to join Informatica's EMEA Central presales team. Responsibilities include developing technical account plans/strategies, engaging with partners, designing complex solutions on Informatica Data Management Cloud, educating customers and partners, participating in architectural discussions, mentoring team members, and contributing to sales enablement and pipeline generation activities. Reporting to the PreSales Director, this role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on ensuring data trustability, accessibility, and ethical usage to solve complex business problems.

You will report to the PreSales Director. This is hybrid model position.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Manage customer engagements independently
  • Responsible for sharing best practices and content on competition and other ecosystem vendors
  • Stay current on certification of services related to area of focus
  • Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a Customer Specific Demo with no assistance including discovery, technical qualification, customer presentations, standard demo and any related customer-facing communication
  • Conduct technical workshops with customers with no assistance
  • Lead on RFP responses and POC's related for area of focusPartner with the CSM team to nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
  • Support demos at marketing events
  • Customize, create and present customer demos.
  • Present existing EBC content either at Informatica or onsite with customers

What We'd Like to See

  • Practical knowledge on at least 1 Cloud Ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) and first-hand experience in the Data Governance or Data Quality space
  • Experience with Cloud computing security aspects
  • Ability to engage at VP and Director level. Has credibility with data engineers, data scientists and other technical client personas
  • Proficient in creating compelling narratives and delivering engaging presentations for different horizontal and vertically specific use cases.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, Data Warehousing, Database, and/or Business Intelligence software concepts and products
  • Ability to create and implement a strategic technical account plan as defined by the business
  • 8 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Manages operational responsibilities of staff or individual contributors
