Senior Network Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. You will join a team-based work environment and you need to equally familiar with and delivering solutions that meet challenging requirements.

You will report to the Senior Manager of IT Operations.

You will design, manage, and automate traditional, cloud and hybrid network technologies including load-balancers, firewalls, remote access systems, SD-WAN and WiFi.

This is hybrid position.

Technology You'll Use

• Cisco routing and switching
• Extreme wireless networking technologies
• Palo Alto firewalls, security solutions, remote access systems and SD-WAN technologies
• F5 load balancers
• Infrastructure as Code , scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible)
• IaaS/PaaS on Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI)

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Manage and design cloud and data center class network technologies centered around Cisco and multi cloud-based infrastructure
• Integrate traditional on-premise network infrastructure with cloud-based network technology
• Maintain Palo Alto firewall technologies to provide a high degree of security
• Maintain a Palo Alto SDWAN infrastructure
• Ensure traditional and wireless LAN based network technologies operate to a high standard
• Ensure high availability, SSL acceleration and SSL offloading through F5 Big IP technology
• Document network environments, deploy network policy documents

• You use your skills to develop and implement enterprise-grade network infrastructure that is efficient, scalable, resilient and secure in its design.
• You have experience working within a geographically distributed IT team spread across multiple time zones
• You are focused on delivering for the customer and are experienced with user facing applications and operating systems
• You are passionate about network engineering and want to enhance your experience, knowledge and capabilities through learning and continuous improvement

Role Essentials

• Four-year degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an background of experience that merits equivalency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IaaS/PaaS role on Public Cloud.
• BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
