Lead Software Engineer (Germany)

We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer candidate to join our team in Stuttgart office in a hybrid model.

You will report to the Senior Director - Development.

As a part of our SCRUM team you will help to ensure that new features are rolled out to our customers within a short release cycle at the highest quality.

Technology You'll Use

Spring Boot, Spring Data, MongoDB, Elastic Search, Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Spark

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

• Develop new features for a business application running on a cloud-native SaaS platform.
• Collaborate with several cross-functional teams, architects, product managers, and engineers.
• Participate in design and code reviews as part of our development process.

What We'd Like to See

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background with at least 5 years of experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Java programming.
• Understanding of software development as an engineering field.
• Previous exposure to current standards and frameworks, especially the Spring Framework.
• Deep experience with design patterns and software modeling.
• Deep experience with Restful web services - sync and async.
• As a team-player you contribute reliable and systematic work.
• Enjoys brainstorming on design and loves problem-solving with a strong focus on teamwork.
• Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas in a group
• Fluent English and basic German communication skills
