Meet Jens Kambor, Regional Sales Manager DACH, EMEA
I work on the Sales Team, leading the Medium Enterprise Team in the Central EMEA Region. The team consists of nine Sales Reps, covering a variety of customers across the region.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and what led you to join Informatica.
I joined the Informatica team around a year and a half ago as a Sales Rep. After joining, I had the opportunity to lead and build up the Medium Enterprise Sales Team in the Central Region after three quarters in October 2018. Before joining Informatica, I spent most of my career in various sales and sales leadership roles at IBM, HPE, and Emerson Network Power.
The opportunity to grow as a sales professional, and join the leader in Enterprise Cloud Data Management to build an organization from the ground up is what led me to Informatica. Our team is truly a ‘startup’ within a structured, larger company, which I truly need and enjoy.
What do you enjoy most about working at Informatica?
Along with all of the great things at Informatica – the company culture is such a warm and welcoming one. There is very little ego from top to bottom of the management scale, but plenty of drive and desire to continue growing. You find yourself continually motivated to do your best, and 'outperform' what you did yesterday.
Tell us three things most people don’t know about you.
If you could be any superhero, who would you be and why?
I am a superhero already, at least for my two lovely kids, my wife, and myself.
What advice would you give to job seekers looking to join Informatica?
Just be yourself, as it’s the easiest way to get noticed. Be prepared to ask questions about the position, the team, and culture. It’s essential to love what you do, and even more than that, having a great team to do it with!
