Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for managing vulnerability reporting for Informatica's Cloud business. Your peers and development teams will look up to you provide instant metrics on how to mitigate vulnerabilities within our ecosystem. You will ensure the reporting and communications both automated and actionable. 

You will work with world class engineers to deliver the next generation cloud platform and products, using the latest cutting edge cloud technology, such as Amazon AWS, Saleforce.com, Microsoft Azure, to provide transformational and reliable cloud services to our customers. You have experience working at a global scale, but agile enough to deliver results iteratively and create ongoing impact quickly.

Our Ideal Candidate

 
You are an innovative analyst who has keen eye for reporting and visualization. An engineer with passion for internal and external customer success, continuous improvement and operational excellence at a global scale. You have a track record of extracting data, visualizing it and helping people understand them. You are comfortable managing asks, cross-functional interdependencies, performing on-time and accurately. You understand how to address technology risk by managing a organization wide vulnerability management program.

Responsibilities:

• Triage incoming software, systems, and infrastructure related security issues on a daily basis
• Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents
• Monitor security dashboards that provide insights in state of security
• Generate actionable reports for various teams to act on security issues on a timely basis
• Configure internal tooling to automate repetitive manual process and create reports
  Create security tasks from different programs and work with security engineers and engineering teams to classify and fix security bugs
• Capture metrics and use data to measure impact and drive internal improvements
• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
• Work with security team to perform tests and uncover vulnerabilities

Required Skills:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 
• Basic understanding of information security principles. 
• Experience with infrastructure technologies, system administration, vulnerability management and/or network security. 
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented & organized approach, excellent communication, developed interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to manage competing priorities and simultaneous projects in a fast paced environment. 
• Experience in a tech field and understanding of web application architectures
• Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys, Nexpose)
• Experience working in a web/tech company is highly desirable.
• Experience with query languages and data visualization tools (i.e. python, tableau)
