    Job Profile Summary:  

    The HR Generalist performs as a generalist in a variety of Human Resources activities, including Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Compliance and Business Partnering within a region.
     
    Location: Singapore, Tokyo
     
    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Provide generic/administrative support in staff benefits, performance management and employee movement, various letters production for employees, learning courses etc. 

    • Work closely with HR Business Partners in driving initiatives on staff career development, retention, employee relations, better workplace, and succession plans. • Singapore specific: Help in administering government related portals like Jobs Bank, Ministry of Manpower EPOL(Employment Pass Online), Foreign Workers Levy, NS(National Service) portal etc with help of Payroll Vendor (Tricor).

    • Streamline global policies and guidelines and ensure compliance and well communicate in each country across the region. 

    • Able to identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve staff performance, retention, and employee experience 

    • Coordinate with the business, immigration vendor (Fragomen) and relevant stakeholders to handle APJ assignments in an effective and legally compliant manner.

    • Manage and maintain benefit schemes such as insurance, leave benefits, wellness program, pension etc across the region.

      • Assist with staff benefit/ insurance renewal process and manage communication with employees. 

    • Handle new employees’ on-boarding and leavers’ off-boarding process; conduct 1:1 orientation with the new hires. • Work with HR shared service and HRIS teams to ensure data accuracy and timely update in the HR systems and database. 

    • Update employee handbooks, employee benefit brochures, and leave policies and maintain the latest versions on Life@ and shared drive.

    • Coordinate successful launch/implementation of global and local programmes and initiatives for APAC region. 

    • Perform any other add-hoc assignment.   
     
    Knowledge and requirement: 

    • Bachelor degrees required; major in HR or related is preferred • At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR operations

    • Regional exposure in Asia Pacific and/or MNC firms is a plus • Experience in supporting employees in remote locations. 

    • A team player and able to work independently; good communication and interpersonal skill

    • Good commend of spoken and written English and Mandarin or Japanese
