Our Ideal Candidate

A successful candidate must have both technical and business skills and must possess the ability to develop and deliver detailed Master Data Management solutions through consulting project activities. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with experience within the Master Data Management discipline and experience or a strong knowledge of, related disciplines like data quality and data integration.  A background or knowledge of emerging data management areas like Big Data and Cloud are a plus, but not mandatory. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training and solution deployment.  Additional responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation and may participate in sales and proposal presentation.

Resonsibilities

• Recognized thought leader in Master Data Management solutions.
• Draws upon domain expertise and practical experience to become a trusted advisor to the customer's technical and business elements
• Substantial contributor to documented best practices, white papers, guides and process improvement in Master Data Management
• Engage in the most complex customer environments and challenging projects and achieve successful outcomes to ensure customer success
• Work closely with IPS Regional Managers to support customer and sales opportunities
• Support cost estimation for Master Data Management solution engagements
• Share expert level knowledge through mentoring, educational development and delivery, speaking engagements and blogs and other social media outreach
• Provides key product enhancement, design and new release feedback to R&D
• Executes on cutting edge of product roll out including “first time” installations, projects and use cases with new technology

• Holds expert-live experience and uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective was
• Deep industry knowledge and understanding of a customer’s decision-making process, goals, strategies, and business objectives.
• Expert level presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement
• Expert level database and data management skills
• Expert delivery of complex Master Data Management implementations
• Expert project level of effort estimation and project management

Education & Experience

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Master Data Management discipline
• Experience with Informatica Master Data Management, Data Governance and Data Quality software/solutions preferred
