As a Tax Intern at Informatica, you will be exposed to innovative culture, challenging work and a fast moving, results oriented environment.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work in a global tax department with each team member having significant experience in public accounting and industry taxation. You will gain first-hand experience on how a global tax department of a multinational company operates in the high-tech industry. This position will report primarily to the Domestic and International Tax Directors and will be responsible for the following job duties:

  • Assisting with the data gathering and preparation of workpapers for general U.S. income compliance reporting (e.g. Forms 1120, 8858, and 5471)
  • Assisting with federal and state tax return preparation
  • Assisting with information gathering and documentation to support ongoing tax audits
  • Department administration and data management
  • Participating in various internal and external meetings with our external financial auditors and service providers (i.e. Big 4 accounting firms)
  • Various ad-hoc projects as they arise

Your Qualifications:

You are a self-motivated professional who demonstrates the ability to quickly grasp new concepts. You are bright and intellectually curious; are capable, adaptable and agile. You like the excitement of working in a fast-paced environment. You like being creative and are open to new ideas and ways of doing things. You are able to work independently as well as within a team. In addition, you have the following attributes:

  • Graduating between December 2019 and June 2020
  • Pursuing a B.S./M.S. in Accounting/Taxation or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Team player with a positive attitude
