Position Title: PreSales Support Engineer 4
External Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Build, install, configure, and maintain Proof of Concept demos, training, and workshops.
- Creates and maintains automated capabilities to accelerate the creation/support of environments in various platforms in support of field / presales customer opportunities.
- Responds to requests for POC demos, training, workshops, custom environments by copying existing templates and customizing to the need.
- Documents and provides guidance to sales staff in using environments.
- Troubleshoots more complex network and security connectivity issues between technologies in support of the presales environments.
- Install and configure Informatica products, ensure VM/template compliance with security and fair usage policies, perform product/solutions upgrades.
- Contribute to enablement materials and Presales knowledge base. Provide the community with technical tips and tricks. Warn the community about known product issues and limitations and give the work arounds if possible.
- Remote Customer support during the Sales cycle: first level technical support and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate on product quality and evolution: escalate product bugs and issues, provide enhancement and feature requests to Product Managers and Business Unit.
- At this level, work will often be more ambiguous in nature, requiring higher levels of cross-functional communication skills, along with expert-level technical ability.
- Incumbents are expected to mentor and train lesser scoped roles within the team and promote knowledge share within the company (R&D, Product Marketing, other PreSales stakeholders, etc).

Education/Experience

BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred.

Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
