Our Team Informatica Core Technology Intelligent Data lake team is responsible for building the Industry leading Self Service Big Data Preparation Solution to the data Analysts to rapidly discover and turn big data into insights with Quality and Governance .

Your Opportunity You will participate in the testing effort of enterprise software. He/she will test and critique software components and interfaces in great technical depth, write test frameworks, programs to assure high product quality, and develop advanced test tools to increase productivity and efficiency.

We are looking at hiring Software Engineer QA for the Intelligent Data Lake QA team at Informatica who shall be responsible for conducting Functional, Concurrency, Stress/Longevity tests.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for Designing and developing functional, i18N, Concurrency, Stress/Longevity test plans, test cases based upon requirements and Customer/Field use cases
  • Design automation frameworks.
  • Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities.
  • Delivering high quality Data Lake Product which involves working with
    • Big Data (Hadoop).
    • Various Informatica Products like BDM, DQ and Data Preparation.
    • Analytical Tool like Tableau, Zeppelin
    • Industry leading RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase etc
    • Data warehousing appliances like Netezza, Teradata, Greenplum
    • Change Data capture
    • Big Data (Hadoop)
    • Working with internal and external customer to better understand use cases and design effective test strategy
  • Innovating new ideas for automation and tools for overall QA productivity

 

  • Collaborates effectively with peer engineers and architects to solve complex problems
  • Innovating new ideas for automation and tools for overall QA productivity
  • Working with cross geographical R&D engineering and QA teams


  • Your qualification

 

  • BS/MS/MCA in Computer Science 3 to5 years of working experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong OO design and programming skills with Java
  • Good database and operating system knowledge
  • Prior experience in API testing and technologies such as TestNG and/or JUnit
  • Experience with automation frameworks using Java
  • Experience in the Big Data (Hadoop .
  •  Experience in working with any of Informatica Products like Power Center , Big Data management , Cloud Data Integration.
  • Knowledge on the security concepts will be a plus.
