Position Title: Instructor Architect

External Description:

The Sr. Salesforce Trainer conducts technical training courses for internal employees in the use of various sales tools – e.g. Salesforce, CPQ, SalesLoft, etc.  Prepares lesson plans based on Informatica’s business requirements or software documentations. As the Sr. Sales Trainer, you will also support and create curriculum by actively participating in meetings.  Instruct participants in both classroom lectures and webinars.  Create onDemand voice-overs and content for web-based training and follow ups to determine applicability of course material. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Update and maintain education materials for assigned tools and audiences
• Design and implement the knowledge base for frequently asked support questions while also ensuring that gaps are addressed consistently
• Design and deliver content via multiple mediums to a varied population with ranging technical acumen levels for assigned markets and product families
• Implement corrective action needed to address concerns in training based on reporting
• Monitor standard requirements for course material and delivery, and track/action variances that occur
• Actively work with stakeholders to design compelling content that matches both their technical environment and educational needs for established products and emerging products
• Frequently present at Sales Kick Off, New Hire Sales Training, and industry events

• Holds broad expertise or unique knowledge to contribute to development of company objectives or to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. (May require technical review to attain this level)
• Exercises independent judgement in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Influences across segment, BU, and organization to achieve business goals
• Provides advice and consultation within their professional discipline and outside of functional area
• Expert at developing & presenting custom training in addition to standard “out-of-the-box” training across multiple product lines
• Advanced proficiency in translating highly technical data and process into easily explained and understood material for audiences with varying levels of technical acumen.
• Expert in developing and creating OnDemand training
• Content and curriculum experience
• Familiar with the ADDIE methodology and of adult learning theory

Education/Experience

• BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong Salesforce knowledge
