Your Opportunity

As a Senior Manager at Informatica Professional Services (IPS), you will be responsible for managing our Managed Services team in India, establishing global delivery model, building effective processes for service delivery and thus ensuring customer success through timely and quality delivery of data management solutions. You will closely work with Informatica customers and the various integrated internal Informatica teams such as other Informatica consultants, partners, Global Customer Support and Product Management to ensure our customer’s success and satisfaction with our products and services and contribute to their long-term loyalty.

This position requires a highly skilled and motivated individual with good Service Delivery background. Also, the position needs an experienced technical background in the Data Management space.

You take a primary point of contact role with clients and/or Informatica stakeholders. Applying your business acumen and team management skills you drive your team to meet their goals and set the example for good work procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be to ensure that the managed services customers are well supported and Informatica team well positioned to make our customers successful.

  • Manage a team of managers and consultants in India. There will also be matrix reporting relationship of Global teams to this position.
  • Drive processes for local and global teams in the areas of continuous improvements of service delivery, optimizations of effort, innovation, tuning global delivery model and engagement delivery best practices.
  • Lead onboarding of new customers
  • Establish an excellent working relationship with customers and global counterparts.
  • Track and manage renewals
  • Ensure timely and regular status reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support IPS regional managers in business development. At times, you have to position our services catalog to the customers.
  • Hiring, retention, and managing career aspiration of your team.
  • Provide Project Management and Service Delivery methodology leadership, coaching and guidance to Informatica consultants and customer resources.
  • Ensure Informatica’s Velocity Methodology and Best Practices are followed and contribute to organization knowledge base.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or MBA
  • ITIL / PMP Certification
  • 13+ years of IT industry experience and most of this should be in service delivery
  • Experience with Informatica suite of products or in the field of data management using other tools such as SAP, IBM, Oracle etc.
  • Expert knowledge of Service Delivery methodologies and tools, Application support & maintenance lifecycle and project management.
  • Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.
