Job Description:

The Head of User Experience and Design will drive the overall user experience across all Informatica Products. This is an opportunity to lead a creative and highly energized global team based in US, EMEA and India.

The leader must have a solid background in the UI/UX and Design field and a track record of successfully leading & managing a large UX team focused in the enterprise products and solutions space.

In this role you will work with leaders/peers across product management, engineering and other business functions to drive our existing product lines as well as steer our next generation offerings. To be successful, you must possess a combination of business & management skills, creativity and a keen eye for design, ability to navigate ambiguity, customer empathy, ability to thoughtfully persuade and secure buy-in from key product leaders and inspire the design-first-customer-first culture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead design across all Informatica products
• Foster organization-wide ‘customer-first’ design focus
• Manage, mentor, and coach the global UX team
• Define and develop measurable goals for the team
• Manage budget and resource allocation across all initiatives
• Partner with product management, engineering, marketing and other stakeholders to deliver on the product strategy and vision built on the UX strategy
• Be the design champion, and deliver the creative vision to build our next generation products offerings

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in UX field, managing and building teams in the enterprise products and solutions space
• Bachelors or Masters in HCI, Industrial/Visual Design, Behavioral Science or related
• Must have successfully lead and directed a sizeable UX team
• Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles, UX Design best practices, trends and emerging technologies
