Position Title: Lead Technical Support Engineer

Areas of Responsibility

This individual will be a Program Manager in Global customer support function within the business operations team.

Project management tasks include:

  • Defining project schedules and resource requirements based on planning methodologies, deliverables, schedules, and tasks.
  • Facilitation, coordination and project management of cross functional team tasks and activities. 
  • Communicating planning and schedule status, issues and risks to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Identifying and resolving problems, planning issues, and project changes. Escalation of unresolved issues requiring senior management attention.
  • Leading project teams and projects to overall success.

 

Required skills and background experience include:

  • 8 or more years’ of industry experience with minimum 5 years project management experience in enterprise organizations.
  • Capture requirements from stakeholders across the organization, that include appropriate technical detail, and business goals
  • Create user stories and use cases that include appropriate level of technical requirements and address the appropriate needs of the stakeholder(s)
  • Communicate effectively with all the stakeholders in timely manner. Set expectations with all the project stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to the project plan by all project participants.
  • Track and monitor project / program status and take actions accordingly.
  • Monitor and report status of key milestones and deliverables in concise manner to senior management.
  • Able to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Keen to learn and adopt new technology and principles.
  • Able to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Work seamlessly with the cross functional teams to meet deliverables.
  • Ability to achieve project goals in a fast paced environment with multiple conflicting priorities
  • Identify and manage the projects issues proactively. Identify risks and plan for them.
  • Act as primary POC for the project with teams right from project Inception to project closure.
  • Good understanding of various software development lifecycle.Good understanding of change control / management process.
  • Manage the project process improvements process.
  • Maintain project documentation repository
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills required.

 

Education and/or Relevant Experience:

  • Skilled in the use of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • PMP desired.
  • Knowledge of tableau and analytics skills a plus.
