Your Opportunity

We are looking for an Austin-based Sr. Financial Analyst to add to our team who will report into the FP&A Director. You will be dedicated to supporting the Renewal Sales business for its subscription software and services businesses.  Recurring revenue is a key focus area for Informatica, composing a significant and growing percentage of its revenue.  This role will give you an inside view into highly relevant topics to the software industry, such as understanding the SaaS business model and helping the Renewal Sales teams understand where to focus their resources to drive growth.

Your Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities are as follows:

• Establish strong business partner relationship with Sales, Sales Operations, and Maintenance Renewals teams
• Assist in the preparation of the annual target setting and budgeting
• Monthly Forecast & Variance Analysis:
  • Perform actual vs. budget review of departmental expenses with managers providing proactive commentary regarding discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly forecast of operating expenses including foresight regarding business objectives
• Work collaboratively with the business and other internal Finance and Accounting teams
• Recommend areas for improvement
• Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
• 4+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage dynamic work load of changing priorities
• Team player with the ability to work independently, proactively and effectively under pressure
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to quickly learn financial systems – Hyperion Planning/Essbase and MicroStrategy
