We are looking for a Finance Manager who will report into the VP of FP&A.  Initially, you will be dedicated to supporting the R&D organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong business partner relationship with R&D leadership team
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget with a good understanding of each group’s goals
• Structure department and account hierarchies for appropriate reporting needs
• Monthly Forecast & Variance Analysis:
  • Perform actual vs. budget review of departmental expenses with managers providing proactive commentary regarding discrepancies
  • Prepare monthly forecast of operating expenses including foresight regarding business objectives
  • Develop KPIs and maintain business performance dashboard
• Work collaboratively with the business and other internal Finance and Accounting teams
• Recommend areas for improvement
• Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed
• Maintain relationships with geographic finance teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• Detail oriented with ability to develop clear, concise executive level reports and summaries
• 5+ or more years of relevant finance work experience in a FP&A role supporting mid-to-large sized organization
• Experience in the software industry required
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with high level management and multiple cross-functional groups
• Ability to multi-task and manage dynamic work load of changing priorities
• Team player with the ability to work independently, proactively and effectively under pressure
• Experience with financial systems – Hyperion Planning/Essbase, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and PeopleSoft Finance – is preferred
