 Your Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Director APJ and aligned to the China Managing Director, you will focus on planning and executing field marketing programs that drive pipeline generation and conversion to support revenue goals.  You will also have responsibility to support corporate marketing to ensure the programs they run in/for Greater China are aligned to the business needs, especially the sales strategy and objectives. The role is based in Beijing.

Essentially, we are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented marketer to play an integral role in expanding our customer advocacy practices. Your creativity and innovation will be essential as you define and implement updates to our customer-centric programs and solutions, both internal and external. With your drive and determination, you'll be an essential element of our customer advocacy team, working to establish trust and build customer loyalty for Informatica products and solutions.

Your Responsibilities

You will work in concert with sales and marketing to ensure customer satisfaction across the board. You'll be instrumental in expanding our customer advocacy efforts by serving as the voice of our customers, both internal and external. You'll identify and develop new references while enhancing programs that drive expectations and milestones that support customer deliverables. When issues arise, you'll quickly identify and implement solutions, following each concern through resolution. You'll develop marketing content that supports our internal efforts, including success stories and case studies, press releases, events, webinars, podcasts and videos. You'll also provide key messaging for media and industry analyst calls that supports our corporate vision. With your diplomatic nature, you'll steer customer expectations according to product and resource capabilities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Tracking the use of customer references through our internal database and assessing inventory versus demand
  • Serving as primary point of contact for internal and external customers, enabling you to successfully advocate the needs of your customers
  • Work with sales, partners & marketing to generate qualified sales leads using a mix of marketing programs, activities and events
  • Manage programs and leads to ensure optimal lead flow
  • In collaboration with the APJ Marketing lead, design, test and optimize campaign activities
  • Leverage tools, systems and processes to track the success of each program/quarterly plan
  • Ensure a closed loop process for all programs from planning, execution, follow up & reporting
  • Drive and support partner marketing activity as needed, in conjunction with APJ Partner marketing lead
  • Achieves goals successfully; constantly challenges self and others to deliver results; acts with a sense of urgency and seizes opportunities when they arise

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Business, Marketing or IT
  • 5-7 years of experience leveraging digital, social & public relations for customer advocacy programs including referral, outreach & high touch
  • Demonstrable ability to coordinate and manage customer meeting logistics
  • Proven ability in program development and flawless execution
  • required, preferably in Business, Marketing or IT; MBA a plus
  • 5-7 years of experience in a customer referral program or other customer outreach program
  • Strong familiarity with the software industry, especially B2B enterprise IT
  • Established program management experience
  • Able and willing to travel as required mostly within China and Taiwan, and occasionally internationally
