Our Team                     

Reporting to the Director of IT Operations in Austin, TX, you will be a key member of the team directly responsible for supporting and driving business value to over 3,600 employees in over 28 countries. You will work closely with the IT management team and other key business stakeholders to develop long-term strategies and roadmaps to deliver value to our employees.

 

Your Opportunity

In this role, you will be the collaboration evangelist, working to set the vision and drive various solutions for Informatica employees in the enterprise collaboration space. Software includes, Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), Salesforce Chatter, Cisco Collaboration Product suites (WebEx, Jabber, Collaboration Edge) and Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Groups, Yammer, Stream, Skype for Business etc.). You will work closely with leads and management teams to drive enablement and adoption of our enterprise collaboration tools to our employees. You will capture employee feedback, usage metrics, requirements, and assist the IT team in designing, testing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our employees to increase productivity and better collaboration. This role is an opportunity to help Informatica scale and drive its employees for future growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Bring your experience and perspective on collaboration and collaboration tools to the team
  • Help drive the collaboration program, strategy, and roadmap
  • Partner with the user community, including executives, to identify their business requirements, analyze business processes, analyze source data, produce functional specifications, data flows and business rules, assist with the implementation, and manage expectations successfully of those specifications
  • Collaborate with the team to assess the cross functional impacts of business decisions across solution platforms and provide input on IT processes and procedures affecting the team
  • Work with the team on the initiation, planning, requirements, design, test and post-production phases of the solution development life cycle
  • Develop, document and perform system integration, and user acceptance testing
  • Continuously grow your knowledge and expertise in next-generation collaboration technologies, to share best practices and drive innovation

Representative projects may include but are not limited to:

  • Evangelize and drive collaboration enablement and adoption globally
  • Work with Office 365 to push and rollout new features needed to meet business needs
  • Integrate Microsoft/Cisco Collaboration Product suites
  • Evaluate Microsoft Teams, Slack and HipChat for enterprise readiness and use case fulfillment

 

Your Qualifications

  • Experience with collaboration and social networking tools to bring a fresh perspective to the collaboration team
  • Ability to work with teams to gather business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, and methodology development
  • Problem resolution and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and adapt quickly to change in high pressure situations with minimal supervision required
  • Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated record of exceeding customer expectations
  • Solid business acumen; ability to understand and anticipate business needs in order to provide appropriate solutions
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong team player with excellent listening, interpersonal, facilitation, written, oral and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate concepts in both technical and user-friendly language to management, peers, staff, and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood.
  • Working towards a BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
