Your Opportunity:  

The Customer Advocacy team delivers programs for customers worldwide to tell their stories about all the great things they are achieving with the Informatica platform. Our goal is to nurture these advocates, capture their stories and deliver meaningful content to accelerate sales opportunities and enable sellers. This differentiated content enables customers, partners and the Informatica sales organization to understand how our customers power their businesses with data. 

We're looking for an intern who will support the global Customer Advocacy Team by tracking customer activity, support reporting and research, and help tell compelling stories and consistently recognize customer advocates.

This position will be located at our Austin, Texas office and will report to the Director of Customer Advocacy

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Customer Advocacy team to drive customer engagement with Peer Insights. Track and monitor utilization as well as sending recognition.
  • Ensure corporate communications receives the most current customer testimonials to promote at events and internal all hands meetings.
  • Provide latest customer marketing assets to sales and field marketing by way of their respective newsletters.
  • Implement a model for consistently recognizing customer activity, track activity and send recognition.
  • Report on customer usage activity by contact and account on a monthly basis.
  • Report on reference recruitment and fulfillment by product on a monthly basis.

Your Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a BS degree pursing Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Must be graduating between Dec 2018 - Jun 2019
  • A sense of customer first and comfortable communicating with internal customers
  • Clear and direct communicator with a “Can-Do” attitude
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Strong MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
