The Hosting Manager, Information Technology will drive the internal hosting strategy, executing Informatica’s vision as a leader in Enterprise Cloud Data Management. This role is responsible for leading and motivating teams, in addition to the design, development, implementation and operations of infrastructure systems, applications, tools, policies, and procedures.  Leading a team to ensure delivery of solutions for our customers both internal and external.

Responsibilities

·         Service ownership of global hosting services provided by IT

·         Demonstrating accountability and sees him or herself as responsible for IT meeting customer expectations

·         Drive delivery and support for mission critical enterprise infrastructure, as well as customer-facing and/or internal-enterprise facing applications

·         Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team

·         Provide effective support to the enterprise infrastructure and related applications throughout the service life cycle ensuring high SLA responsiveness

·         Identify, analyze, mitigate and proactively respond to project, business, financial and operational risks; both real and anticipated

·         Provide leadership and guidance, fostering a work culture that recognizes and supports individual differences in work-styles, personalities, cultures and values, in order to maximize team performance and effectively achieve personal and team goals; provide coaching and mentoring as needed

·         Create and manage a continuous improvement program that identifies and implements best practices, measuring performance and drive improvements in IT systems and processes.

·         Effectively partner with IT business managers to define solution strategies and annual roadmaps; setting direction in all areas of responsibility, monitoring ongoing effectiveness, and overseeing redesign or redirection as appropriate

·         Develop trusting relationships based on direct and open communication that foster clear definition of priorities

·         Provide project management support for IT initiatives; ensuring quality and conformance to methods, policies, and standards.

·         Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, new vendor selection processes, renewal solutions, maintenance and support.

Requirements

  • Hands on and able to get down into the low-level details to review as required – Hybrid environment experience
  • Establishes an excellent delivery process, enabling distributed resources to work as an effective, objective driven and collaborative global team.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be a dynamic, motivated, and experienced IT professional that can lead a highly skilled cross functional technical team in delivering high value solutions
  • Track record of success in managing Production systems
  • Track record of success in planning, execution of short and medium-term application roadmaps
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a global delivery model and ability to identify, define and measure Global IT delivery processes
  • Strong leader with proven ability to manage resources, both internal and external; demonstrated ability to build, manage and develop a high performing team of IT professionals
  • Ability to develop and manage a budget, measure performance, and optimize results
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills; able to multi task and prioritize effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to forge consensus among competing constituents on critical and time sensitive issues
  • Management style that exhibits high energy, integrity, collaboration, candor, accountability, openness to feedback and a results orientation
  • Must have strong customer focused skills

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of IT delivery management experience based around hosting, both on premise & cloud
  • Experience in working in quality focused organizations which are CMM level 3 and higher is desirable
  • Effective relationship management, communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated success in dealing effectively with customers, vendors, peers and senior management.
  • Project management experience; PMP or PMI certification preferable
