Position Title: Principal Financial Analyst

External Description:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will report into the VP of FP&A.  Initially, you will be dedicated to the Corporate FP&A Financial Forecasting and reporting consolidation process for the Company.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities are as follows:

• Establish strong relationships across the FP&A and accounting teams
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast with a good understanding of the Company’s goals
• Prepare Board of Directors analysis and reporting for month end and quarter end reviews
• Work collaboratively with the Finance and Accounting teams
• Recommend areas for improvement
• Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed
• Maintain relationships with geographic finance teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• Detail oriented with ability to develop clear, concise executive level reports and summaries
• 3+ or more years of relevant finance work experience in a FP&A role supporting mid-to-large sized organization ideally in a corporate role
• Experience in the software industry a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with high level management and multiple cross-functional groups
• Ability to multi-task and manage dynamic work load of changing priorities
• Team player with the ability to work independently, proactively and effectively under pressure
• Experience with financial systems – Hyperion Planning/Essbase, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and PeopleSoft Finance – is preferred
