Your Opportunity

You will manage the joint sales activity between Informatica’s strategic partners and the direct sales organization. The role involves driving strategic engagement, developing solid marketing campaigns, and developing partners skill sets to increase partner resell revenue and referral revenue. This role will have a heavy emphasis on the net new revenue partners bring to Informatica. Having a strategy and plan is key.   

Our Ideal Candidate

You should have prior experience in Channel Partner Sales / Business Development and be well versed in partner engagement best practices.  In addition, you should have a strong understanding of the data integration market including topics like Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Cloud integration and what these topics mean to our Customers and Partners. In addition to the attributes mentioned, you should also:

  • Be a self-starter and highly motivated to drive and build business with Informatica partners.
  • Understand recent trends / challenges and what’s selling within these markets.
  • Use organizational and process mapping skills to enhance existing processes that the larger team can leverage for greater productivity

Your Responsibilities

You will plan and manage joint partner / sales activity and efforts including:

  • Define and create strategies relative to partner business development efforts.
  • Develop joint strategies for key accounts.
  • Collaborate with partner marketing and enablement to drive plans to support revenue objectives.
  • Engage partners and sales teams in support of relationship building and management
  • Minimize and manage engagement conflict across teams.
  • Provide coaching and expertise to sales and partners.
  • Drive partner sourced opportunities in order to drive net new revenue to Informatica.
  • Work closely with the Area VPs, Regional Sales Directors, and respective Sales Teams to drive a culture of joint interaction between direct sales and the partners

  • 5-10 years of proven success track record of success in Channel Sales / Business Development and Partner engagement best practices
  • Selling at executive level of client organization
  • Experience in selling to all levels of the enterprise
