The Principal Consultant will work closely with customers, partners and Informatica staff to deploy best-of-class Informatica solutions. This position requires a highly skilled senior level resource consultant with Data Architecture, RDBMS, Big Data, Unstructured Data and exposure to Streaming and Realtime analytics experience.
The successful candidate will work in a wide variety of delivery engagements in addition to sales and post-sales activities, including pre-sales due diligence, post-sales customer deployments and facilitate customer support.
Responsibilities:
Develop logical and physical database schemas, ETL mappings, interfaces and extensions utilizing Informatica products and accelerators
Provide technical depth to Informatica solutions in discussions with customers, partners and internal resources
Requirements/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to facilitate discussions, drive consensus, steer toward quick decisions
Professional on-site customer integration experience, preferably with a large systems integration firm or an enterprise software services arm
Experience developing conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms
Thorough understanding of data integration, mass data ingestions, data modeling, physical schema properties, triggers, stored procedures etc.
Understanding of Big Data, No SQL, Unstructured Data, Streaming Analytical frame work concepts
7+ years programming/analysis/design/administration
3+ years’ experience of solution architecture
Experience designing and deploying data integration solutions in a large data warehouse setting
Experience utilizing Informatica tools and accelerators
Ability to grasp the overall picture, including the business drivers
Must be able to solve problem outside your areas of expertise
Desirable:
Experience with Windows, UNIX shell, python scripting or programming
Ability to automate administration tasks, perform capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning and administer security
Experience with optimization of high volume databases (>300GB) and large, distributed data warehouses
General understanding of the healthcare industry
Experience with messaging software
Experience in a Team Lead role with excellent Customer Service Experience or Delivery Team Leadership experience
