Informatica is currently looking for an Mid Market Account Executive  with experience developing data-driven applications to join our team.

Your Opportunity

This is the right time and the right place for a high-energy, driven and goal-oriented Account Executives with knowledge of Data Integration, Data Quality/MDM, and Cloud Application Integration technology. You can drive multiple transactions within Corporate Segment Accounts while creating satisfied customers. You’ll use your strategic thinking skills and solid business-to-business sales and account management experience to consistently meet quotas.

You are a whiz at managing complex sales-cycles, and presenting to executive decision makers the value of our full suite of Informatica Cloud Service.

You enjoy making deals, and it shows through your enthusiasm and efforts to overcome objections. You’re a natural for the job because you have a broad understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) market opportunities and can articulate the benefits of Informatica Cloud Services.

Your Role

  • Expands sales within existing and/or new accounts while building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develops and executes a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of Informatica’s solutions to customer business requirements.
  • Accountable for accurate forecasting, regular quarterly revenue delivery, and the implementation of agreed account and business plans.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to develop an effective plan for the accounts, to include events, seminars, and roadmap sessions.
  • Promotes Informatica’s products, maximizes brand recognition and mindshare at all levels, and publicizes success stories.
  • Provides customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvements.
  • At this level, incumbents will have developing expertise and knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Assigned accounts will typically be more moderate in complexity and assigned quota be less than the more highly scoped portfolio representative levels.
  • Incumbents will regularly sell-to and interact with initial decision maker levels, with less routine interactions with executive and/or CXO levels, within the customer.
  • Under minimal supervision, work is primarily driven by well-defined sales objectives.  

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of quota carrying software (SaaS experience preferred) or technology sales and account management experience
  • Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO level
  • Consistent earnings in past Account Executive roles while carrying a minimum $1.1M quota
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Previous Sales Methodology training, SaaS integration or applications experience, and strong customer references preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Google applications, Excel, Word.
  • Bachelor or University Degree
