Do you hang out at the intersection of hi tech and multimedia? Are you interested in spending your summer as part of a tech company using your creativity to help users figure out some pretty technical stuff?  

The Informatica technical documentation team is looking for an energetic intern with outstanding multimedia skills to help deliver videos, interactive tutorials, and infographics that will help users with our products. You are a self-starter, can juggle multiple projects, and can be a high impact member of the team.  You will gain experience working in a fast-paced environment creating multimedia content that is technical, but also clear, concise, and useful.

Our Team

Reporting to the Director of Documentation in Redwood City, CA, you will be a key member of the team responsible for delivering product documentation, including videos, infographics, and interactive tutorials that help our customers succeed.  You will work closely with technical writers across multiple geographies to create high quality, high impact content.

Informatica’s internships last 10-12 weeks during the summer months. We are currently hiring for the May/June 2018 timeframe and will be located in our Redwood City, CA office.

Your Qualifications  

• Graduating between December 2018 and June 2019 with a degree in communications, multimedia, media production, or a related field
• Must be a student, currently enrolled with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Ability to create engaging and concise videos for a technical audience with Camtasia or Adobe Premier
• Ability to create clear and useful infographics
• Experience with creating interactive tutorials or demos
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Can collaborate with multiple teams
• Can propose creative ideas and look for new ways to contribute
• Ability to meet deadlines and help others meet them
• Is attentive to detail and accuracy and is committed to excellence
