Position Summary


The Marketing Campaigns and Operations team is searching for a Global Campaign Director. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing and managing measurable and sustainable integrated marketing campaigns. You will be required to drive the development of integrated marketing plans including campaign objectives, campaign themes, campaign effectiveness, asset development and execution monitoring. This person is a strong leader and has the ability to cultivate and sustain a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, coordination and communication. The role will report to the Vice President of Marketing Campaigns and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a global cross-functional marketing, sales, services and products team to develop integrated campaign plans including, objectives, target audience descriptions, strategies, tactics, metrics, dependencies, timelines, and budget requirements. 
  • Project manage all activities within WorkFront to far enough in advance that all tasks can be executed in a timely fashion within available budgets.
  • Acts as single point of contact for stakeholders such as Portfolio Marketing, Regional Marketing and Digital Marketing and Creative Services regarding the status of digital campaign program execution. 
  • Maintains the process, process documentation, project artifacts (One Drive, team folders, collaboration tools), on-boarding of new stakeholders, and coordinates the cross-functional status meetings for stakeholders. 
  • Runs all communications programs needed to keep all stakeholders up to date (reports, update calls) on campaign execution status and the availability of new campaign assets/deliverables.
  • Maintain the calendar of planning and execution activities.
  • Work cross-functionally to understand status of deliverables, identify gaps and facilitate the resolution of bottlenecks.
  • Establish success metrics and develop a process for tracking, measuring, and reporting results. Determine a plan to act on the results and key findings. 
  • Develop campaign key messaging in collaboration with product marketing for use by field marketing and creative teams. 
  • Manage development of marketing content assets associated with campaign initiatives (eg. whitepapers).
  • Develop plans with regional field marketing teams around the globe to localize appropriate campaign elements and to ensure campaign plans are executed in all appropriate regions. 
  • Manage all necessary resources i.e. people, budgets and time.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns with an understanding of all marketing communications disciplines.
  • A deep understanding of the development and execution of demand generation activities.
  • Ability to make decisions in the face of ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and/or projects using appropriate methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to proactively identify and evaluate problems. Identify appropriate subject matter experts and other information resources to resolve problems. Collects, analyzes and draws conclusions from information.
  • Ability to align people across different teams and functions to a common purpose. 
  • Ability to effectively compose and communicate complex ideas to a wide variety of audiences, especially senior/mid-level professionals.
  • Ability to get up-to-speed quickly, meet deadlines and strive for continuous improvement. 
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous project management skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills including ROI and campaign analysis.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in demand generation, campaign management or equivalent.
  • Experience in enterprise software marketing strongly preferred. Experience in integration software a plus.
  • M.B.A. in Marketing or related field required. 
  • Able/willing to travel as required
  • Proven knowledge and expertise with program management of complex projects or processes
  • Proven track record of successful and collaborative relationships with Field Marketing, Product Marketing, other core marketing functions, and Product Management
