Our job is to ensure that customers renew and buy more. We achieve this by understanding what our customers own, what they are using and what future projects they have to ensure an expanded Informatica footprint.
Your Opportunity
Reporting to the Director Maintenance Renewals, the Subscription Sales Renewal Rep is responsible for selling support/maintenance renewals into Informatica’s existing OEM customer base. Objectives and goals for this position will align to the overall goals of the Maintenance Renewal Sales Organization - Increase profits, reduce expense and retain customers by identifying cross and up-sell opportunities, preserving existing maintenance renewal revenue and enhancing our customers experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed defined monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota
- Communicate effectively and efficiently
- Assist in the review of OEM contractual subscription terms and conditions
- Work effectively with software OEM partners and their subscription renewal royalties
- Handle opportunity and account analysis
- Provide a clear picture of what a customer owns at the opportunity and account level in SFDC (Salesforce)
- Assist with accurate forecasting and weekly reporting
- Obtain a clear understanding of Informatica product and support value proposition
- Understand customer purchase and renewal history
- Understand metadata trends and how they lead to upsell
- Position up-selling and generate cross-sell leads where appropriate
- Assist with qualifying the decision maker, buying process, budget and timeframe
- Manage customer negotiations
- Assist with internal customer renewal status/history inquiries
- Collaborate and cooperate with Field/Inside Sales Force
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships
- Analyze metadata across multiple orgs to paint a picture of health of the customer
- Compare and contract usage data vs licensing data to determine if a customer is over or under deployed
Qualifications
- Experience in related OEM subscription/cloud renewal sales
- Experience with software OEM royalties and partners
- Excellent interpersonal/communication/negotiations/closing skills
- History of over-achievement of sales quotas and recognized success
- BA/BS or equivalent educational background
- Ability to investigate and understand data discrepancies and reporting issues
- Ability to work aggressively, be competitive and persuasive, while demonstrating confidence and resilience, and maintaining integrity and credibility
- Experience with SFDC and reports within SFDC
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
- Experience in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with business application software
