Innovations, customisation and extension of product capabilities is also an important part of a solution engineer duties. Your Opportunity
To grow our team, we are now looking for a specialist who has enough experience to act as a data wrangler in a team of highly performing and experienced Solution Engineers, Product Specialists and Solution Architects. It all starts with data and we can’t show the power of Informatica products if there is no data. To support presales opportunities, to build POC and Custom Demos environments we need you to provide relevant, reliable and ready to demo sample data to the product specialist team.

Your Responsibilities
Your role will be based in Dublin, Ireland, supporting the North America and European Pre-Sales teams providing them with ready to demo sample data for the MDM, Product 360, DQ and potentially other Informatica product and product-fueled solutions.
The primary responsibilities are:

• Data wrangling and data scraping. Extract the raw data from the open sources like Web pages, Web Services and transform it into structured view and format.
• Data preparation. Prepare the data for loading into demo systems. Cleanse and enrich the data, resolve relationships between different entities.
• Data editing using user interfaces of Informatica products (MDM, Product 360, DQ). Act as an end user or data steward to make the final edits and massage the data being demoed.

Your Qualifications

• Relevant experience in data wrangling, scraping, editing and preparation.
• Knowledge of data extract and transform tools, strong Excel skills.
• Good knowledge of html and xml formats. You will need to use web scraping tools to get the data from the Internet.
• Good knowledge of Web services is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a virtual team in engineering and delivering a solution.
• Very good written skills
• Ability to read, speak and understand English fluently.
