Our objective is to aggressively increase Informatica’s market share in EMEA by expanding our focus and investment in the various EMEA markets, including UK & Ireland through direct and indirect sales strategies. In order to support this accelerated expansion, Informatica is seeking to hire a Senior Field Marketing Manager for strategic accounts in EMEA North, located in Maidenhead, UK.

 

Your Challenge

Informatica is looking for an experienced, high-energized marketing manager that will work closely with various stakeholders (Field Sales, Inside Sales, Channel Partners and Agencies) to drive the aggressive growth of awareness, sales pipeline, and market share in this exciting and high potential market.

In this position you will be reporting to the EMEA North Regional Marketing Director. EMEA North is one of the 4 Informatica EMEA Regions and includes the United Kingdom and Ireland. Your key responsibility will be to drive pipeline generation with the strategic account space and align your marketing plan with the go-to-market strategy. You will leverage corporate initiatives and campaigns and fine tune these to the local market situation as well as develop and execute local marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities and Projects include:

  • Strategic Planning - create and execute a cohesive marketing plan for awareness, pipeline generation and pipeline acceleration
  • Account Based Marketing – drive an account based marketing strategy within the territory
  • Partner Marketing – working with System Integrators and Resellers in joint initiatives.
  • Budget Management – ensure maximise budget available for high ROI
  • Develop a balanced Marketing Mix to support Pipeline, Revenue and Market Share targets 
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management - Teamwork with various stakeholders Marketing, Sales, Pre-Sales, Business Partners, EMEA and Global Teams
  • Whitespace Analysis
  • Reporting and Measurement –ensure closed loop approach to understand ROI
  • Event management.  Manage informatica’s presence at 3rd party and Informatica run events, maximising investment and ROI
  • Contribution & local deployment of digital marketing, social media & EMEA campaigns
  • Leveraging global campaigns for local deployment

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor degree candidate majoring in Marketing Management and / Business is preferred (e.g. Marketing Management, Communication Management, Business Administration or International Management)
  • A minimum of 7+ years’ experience executing a range of marketing activities within a business to business IT company
  • Proven ability in a range of marketing activities, including: 
    • Marketing planning
    • Integrated Campaign Management 
    • Event Management: Tradeshows, Summits, Seminars
    • Budget management
    • Database Management 
    • Partner Marketing
  • Account Based Marketing – experience in developing and executing account specific marketing initiatives
  • Experience of managing telemarketing projects
  • Savviness in Online/Social Media is required
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (like SFDC, Marketo or similar)
  • Track record with partner marketing
  • Knowledge of the parts of the marketing mix, including: campaign management, marketing operations, marketing communications, corporate communications and sales enablement
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Team-player. Ability to establish trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
