Our Team

The UX team for Master Data Management (MDM) is responsible for the fastest growing product line at Informatica. Leading financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail companies, as well as government organizations worldwide, rely on Informatica MDM to consolidate their master data to improve operations, lower costs, and increase revenue.

Our office is located in downtown Toronto, an easy walk from either Union station or King subway station. We offer a small company feel, while offering all the opportunities that come with working for a large and globally diverse enterprise software company. Your Opportunity

  • UX Designers are responsible for participating in user research activities e.g. gathering user requirements through remote or onsite interviews, translating requirements into low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and validating prototypes with end-users. You will be part of a globally distributed multi-disciplinary team of professionals in user experience, product management, architecture, and engineering to develop new user-interface designs for our market-leading Master Data Management software. UX Designers need to have knowledge/experience with user interviewing, writing requirements and project documents (e.g. design specifications, validation reports, etc.), developing both low- and high-fidelity prototypes (e.g. wireframes, click-through), performing user validations, and presenting results.
  • Above all, we want UX Designers who are highly passionate about creating great software that our customers will love
  • If you are currently in school, and are within 2 years of graduating with either a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree, then you are eligible to apply for a UX Designer co-op position at Informatica.
  • You should be familiar with design patterns, a quick learner, self-motivated and interested in solving business problems through technology.
