You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating insights. You will synthesize learnings from all data and insights into recommendations for increased global effectiveness. 

Your Responsibilities

Your team is chartered with unlocking the power of customer data and analytics to drive customer obsession across our brand and accelerate growth. We're looking for a seasoned, intelligent, data-driven professional that will help us advance our analytic capabilities around understanding customer behavior and key growth opportunities across our product categories, markets, and channels.

Reporting into the VP of Marketing Campaigns and Operations, this individual will lead the team responsible for developing data-driven customer acquisition and retention strategies critical for Informatica’s growth. This includes developing the strategies and analytic constructs required to maximize customer LTV (e.g. spend, retention) through lifecycle marketing as well as greater personalization and targeting. This role is also responsible for ensuring customer learnings are integrated into appropriate business processes including catalog circulation-planning, digital and direct mail contact strategies and development of brand promotions. Your team will help inform our targeting and messaging strategy based on customer behavior. Your team will support the larger Marketing organization by building and deploying Marketing reports via our visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about customers and consistently demonstrates strong executive leadership, intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, and strong interpersonal and partnering skills. They are a seasoned data-guru who understands how to leverage data to drive decisions. They have deep expertise in Digital Marketing techniques and technologies that deliver Next Best Action. This individual will partner cross-functionally with senior leaders in the Marketing and Sales, while leading a team of data scientists and reporting analysts.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead team responsible for performing exploratory and predictive analytics, including customer/prospect behavior patterns using a combination of descriptive statistics, segmentation techniques, and predictive modeling to inform and impact business decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to set growth targets and develop acquisition and retention strategies to drive active file growth and increased market share
• Lead team responsible for developing and publishing Marketing reports and insights
• Apply statistical methods and knowledge of healthcare data to identify barriers, develop and maintain reporting tools to track and manage performance at multiple levels.
• Develop analytic tools, functions and capabilities
• Collaborate with INFA Marketing stakeholders to analyze, design, build, test, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards and other data extracts as requested.
• Understand database structure and processes and contribute to the development and execution of effective data mining processes, including: dataset preparation; data cleaning; data exploration; modeling; model deployment; and model assessment.
• Employ SQL and other query forms to construct datasets from various databases/tables, ensure data quality and otherwise prepare datasets for analysis.
• Develop models to generate forecasts and other forward-looking insights to support business decision-makers.
• Build department infrastructure, reporting analyses and strategic databases.
• Assist with budgeting, planning and forecasting
• Develop and supervise a team of analytics and business intelligence professionals.
• Collaborate with Analytics professionals to continue advancement of INFA Marketing analytics capabilities, solutions and platforms.
• Oversee preparation of and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain, in collaboration with IT, both short-term and long-term data infrastructure and analytic tools to ensure efficient analytic operations.
• As needed, apply regression/classification modeling: decision trees, clustering techniques, time-series modeling and related approaches in support of forecasting initiatives.
• Oversee staff performance related to quality data validation and analysis needed to successfully meet quality reporting requirements, and performance dashboards development.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, develop and retain a high-performance team
• 15+ years of experience in customer analytics environment
• 10+ years of experience in B2B technology
• Proficient in leveraging customer analytical methods to drive customer and business outcomes
• Proficient in data access methods for large customer and transaction databases
• Expert understanding of direct, digital, catalog and lifecycle marketing in retail environment
• Exceptional problem solving, technical and data-analysis skills
• Strong written and oral presentation skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to balance detail and holistic, strategic perspective of business
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and partnering skills, flexible, thrives in environments of ambiguity
• Excellent organization and time management skills; able to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to communicate complex concepts to various audiences in a clear and concise manner
• Proficiency with SAS or SPSS and advanced Excel
• B.S. in a technical discipline
• MBA desired, but not required
• B2C or SaaS experience desired, but not required
