The Regional Marketing Manager for Public Sector will manage and execute strategic marketing programs that supports the public sector go-to-market strategy and the Informatica corporate strategy for the Federal, State & Local and Higher Education businesses in North America. In this role, you will take ownership and responsibility for optimizing marketing investments, developing marketing strategy, planning campaigns and executing programs using a variety of marketing tactics. Your success will be measured on achieving the desired return on investment to meet Informatica’s sales pipeline & revenue goals.

• Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external partners
• Use your organizational skills to create a productive workflow that the larger team can understand and follow efficiently
• Reporting to the Senior Regional Marketing Manager, Healthcare and Public Sector you will:
o Collaborate with key stakeholders (field sales teams, industry and product marketing, regional marketing, business development) to develop a marketing strategy that ensures industry and corporate objectives are met
o Own and manage the Public Sector regional marketing budget to optimize program investments and achieve desired ROI
o Organize and manage end-to-end event logistics to ensure programs are flawlessly
executed, including venue selection, vendor management, staff coordination, promotion
and internal and external communication
o Manage program and event leads to ensure optimal lead flow to Business Development
o Leverage Marketo, Salesforce.com and other tools to track the success of each program
• Based in Washington, DC and the surrounding areas or Chicago
• BA/BS degree required in marketing, communications or related field
• At least 4 – 6 years marketing experience, preferably in a field, regional or event marketing role
• Experience managing marketing activities within a B2B software company; knowledge of the Public
Sector and/or Higher Education industries a plus
• Proven ability in program development, direct (database) marketing and analysis, project
management and sales support
• Demonstrated passion, innovation, enthusiasm, commitment and accountability
• Able to juggle and manage multiple activities
• Strives for high quality of marketing activity
• Driven to achieve results and targets
• Experience in Marketo a plus
• Approximately 25% travel required
