Our Team
IT Applications department manages the mission critical Enterprise applications for Informatica spanning Enterprise functions including Sales and Marketing, eCommerce, CRM, Finance and HR applications. The technology platforms hosting the applications includes Salesforce, AEM, Lithium, Jive, Azure, AWS, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, MDM and many more. We are a dynamic team spread across geographies serving internal and external customers.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be part of a tightly knit, high-energy IT Applications team. In short, you will never be bored. You will challenge yourself with a wide variety of projects and you will have many opportunities to make a positive impact and grow your career.
The role and responsibilities entail:
- Translation of UI/UX wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements to the application
- Work cross-functionally with the UX designer, development team, project managers, business analysts and more
- Develop new user-facing features
- Maintaining and improving website
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in Web Designing/UI/UX
- Translation of PSDs into functional HTML / CSS mockups
- Provide insights into design best practices and previous experiences to improve website designs
- Collaborate with backend developers to execute implementations and provide design and user experience insights
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Optimize website for better performance and speed
- Technology based driven & must be able to participate in discussions with the Dev team in identifying right user interface controls and interactions
- Excellent communications and time management skills
- Integrations with Web Content Management systems, especially AEM Experience with 3rd party tools including
- Experience with HTML5, responsive design and other cutting-edge best practices
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience with latest scripting language like React, Angular along with CSS and markup languages
- Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems
- Well versed with latest industry standard tools and willing to apply them for improving and enhancing the functionality
- Experience with to Source Control Systems, such as GIT
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
- Able to multi-task, manage and direct multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience in UX study and creating quality mockups and prototypes is a plus
