Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer in Cloud Trust Team to support Centralized Multicloud Networking and Customer and user VPN tunnels
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting multi cloud connectivity, L7 loadbalancers , VPN gateways, IPsec tunnels for Informatica R&D Engineers. In the role of Senior DevOps Engineer, you must be able to work and adapt in a cloud operations environment supporting products and services.. Working as the Senior DevOps Engineer you must have strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Technology You’ll Use:
Cloud native networking, routing protocols (BGP,OSPF), Ipsec, Palot Alto firewalls, Python/Bash, AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux operations.
What You’ll Do
Build and Operate large scale cloud networking gateways deployed in multiple Cloud Providers
Setup and enable Ipsec site to site tunnels.
Automate VPC/VNET , Transit gateway provision for large scale deployments
Implement monitoring and instrumentation for the network connectivity.
Good understanding of security best practices.
Provide 24/7 on call support for management services
Perform incident/alert troubleshooting, problem analysis and provide high quality solutions to technical issues
On-call support in cases of issues on production environment
Work with geographically dispersed team
Key Essentials
Have experience cloud native networking specifically AWS, VPC Networking, Ipsec,
Have experience in either of Cloud Providers AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience writing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation
Ability to troubleshoot using Wireshark and netflow.
Comfortable with supporting and operating high availability Cloud services and provide on-call support for Sev1 incidents on production and critical development/QA cloud environments.
Understanding of Linux fundamentals, networking concepts and IP protocols
You are self-motivated with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
What Does Success Look Like?
Enable Product teams with self-service capabilities and ensure zero downtime, adhering to defined SLAs for higher uptime of the system.
Nice to Have
5+ years of Systems Engineering or Network operations
3+ years of experience in managing Cloud operation environments at scale in Production
3+ years of experience in full implementation of building and managing enterprise networks.
2+ years of experience working in routing protocols.
Experience with Palo Alto or cloud native firewalls.
Experience in working on a Transit Network environment.
Experience with Production level monitoring and alerting with tools like solar winds,zabbix,Prometeus/grafana
Experience with cloud automated deployment tools such as terraform, puppet or sensible.
Prior experience in performing or participating in compliance and security audits is a plus
Prior experience in defining, configuring, and implementing disaster recovery process
