Position Title: Systems Engineer
Systems Administrators are responsible for designing, planning, putting into place, and maintaining their systems. Systems Administrators research and select upgrades, software and other necessities for the system they are responsible for. They are also required to maintain functionality and research any future integrations or capabilities of their ssytems. In addition, senior systems administrators must have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), be a team player and perform difficult tasks well under pressure.
Systems Administrator Tasks
Diagnose and correct computer systems issues.
Configure and troubleshoot software and hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure up-grades for assigned systems.
Work with business units to gather requirements and build & architect appropriate solutions.
Work with offshore Global Operations Center / Global Service Desk teams in repetitive Level 1 & 2 tasks (incident management, standard operation procedures) and new technologies for 24x7 incident support.
Do performance tuning, configuring and upgrading of assigned systems.
Assist with system disaster recovery requirements.
Recommend leading edge approaches to automation, self-service, and efficiency of systems.
Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related degree.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
Basic Knowledge of Windows/Unix Server Systems.
Detailed understanding of Tableau Application and Infrastructure.
In Depth knowledge of Data Analytics and processing activities.
Understanding of RBAC and least access privilege.
